Impact of Service Quality on Student Satisfaction: A Case Study of Public Sector Higher Secondary Institution

Considering the importance of service quality, this paper aims to investigate relationship between quality and student satisfaction in higher education sector Nepal. A public secondary school located Panauti, was taken as sample for study. The descriptive casual comparative research approaches adopted examine impact on satisfaction. personally administered survey using questionnaire based items prescribed by Parasuraman’s SERVQUAL (1985) refined Croning et al. (1992) SERVPERF scale consisting five dimensions namely; tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. Over 140 students participated 121 usable responses were received from institution studying four streams. This results analysis indicated that perceive relatively better provision assurance empathy than physical dimension named tangibles. In addition, empirical result regression positive significant influence all used reliability Among these, tangibility found strong influencers
